Ford Mill Dairy



This lovely property next to the main house. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is approached by the main courtyard with a large area for parking. Heating is provided by a wood burner (first basket of logs included) as well as controlled central heating. The dining room has a table and seating for four people. The kitchen is accessible from the diner down four cottage-style steps, it is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. The family size bathroom is located off the kitchen, with shower over bath, WC, and washer/dryer in a separate cupboard. There is one double bedroom with a TV and a large en-suite shower room and WC, plus one twin bedroom with zip-and-link beds (which can be made into a king on request).

Outside the dairy, the property has a fully enclosed private garden with a table, chairs, and a BBQ area. The garden is accessed from the back door and captures the sun during the afternoon and evening. There are also steps leading up to the grassed area with a private gate allowing access to the owner’s land. Guests’ dogs are allowed to run free over the owner’s fields, and visitors also have use of a giant outdoor chess set. There is a fishing lake on-site, guests will need to bring their own rods. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Accessed via a gentle ramp to the front door, this single storey barn would be an ideal property for anyone with mobility issues. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area is smart and modern with chic sofas perfectly complimenting the charcoal grey floor tiles and glossy white kitchen. A quaint dining table for two makes a wonderful spot for a romantic evening meal after a day exploring the local area. The snug and cosy double bedroom gives way to a sleek en-suite wet room to enjoy
